How to show hidden files in the cPanel File Manager

First you’ll need to get into cPanel and launch the file manager.

Then once you’re looking at the interface you click on the “Settings” button with the gear (upper right hand corner of the screen).

You’ll get a pop-up window with settings.

Click the first check box (below the radio buttons). Then click “Save”.

Now you can see all the system files and ‘hidden’ files in the File Manager.
